Want to attract the largest number & variety of birds to your backyard? Roseanne Guerra, Master Birder & Audubon lecturer will share all the ways we can make our backyards an oasis for our feathered friends. She'll cover the best type of seed & feed, what kinds of bird feeders to use & where to place them to attract the most birds. As a bonus, she'll share tips on how we can deter those pesky squirrels! This event is geared towards Naturalists, birders and anyone interested in attracting birds to their backyard. Pruning is an essential element to insuring the health and beauty of all trees and bushes, but the when, how & where are daunting for most of us. David Norton, City of Sandy Springs Landscape Manager, will tackle all of these issues and more in this interactive workshop. Together with Willie Park, the City of Sandy Springs Arborist, David will address when to prune, how to prune, which tools are best and how to use them effectively. After this workshop, we'll be ready to tackle pruning in our own yards and watch our plants flourish! We've had such a great response that we plan to have this FREE workshop return again soon.
